This show was our first live experience as Psychosis, and it was definitely an experience to say the least. Everything that could go wrong did. We kept a positive attitude, and we figure that since everything went wrong for the first show that now everything should be "smooth sailing" from here on out. May 1, or May Day, in history has been considered the spring version of Halloween, except that this was the day that all the demons are allowed to be released for the rest of the warm season, while Halloween traditionally is the last night that they have to play, and they were definitely ready for pranks! WEST OF DECEMBER had to cancel due to finals week...AMUNE decided not to show up until 10:30, Taz & Laura got mixed messages and didn't open the doors to let us in until 7:30, and something was wrong with the sound board, which kept causing the PA to turn on and off...as well as trouble with the camera, my makeup....just EVERYTHING!! We started at 9:00 with "Necrospasm",



and scared the hell out of the people there by slaughtering our pretty sacrifice victim, Crystal.
The set went well the rest of the way as we plodded through our set, except for the occassional drop-out from the PA.

Raymond was in top form, wowing the audience with his evil technical skills, while Rev. Roach looked on menacingly. On our video recording, Chuck's eyes glowed the entire set....it was very cool.

and despite the fact that the "no smear" makeup I bought did in fact, run and smear into my eyes, we had a great first show. Remarks had been made to the effect that they couldn't believe this was our first show, which we took as a compliment to our hard work. We need to solidify our sound, but I agree that this show was a success.

Then DizeAzeD took the stage and just KILLED us with their AWESOME presence. They put on a great show....

After they destroyed the crowd, AMUNE started at a little after midnight. We stuck around long enough to see that they sounded better than expected, but we had our after-show party to go to....didn't get to bed until 5a.m....We THANK everyone who made this night possible....
